Physician
Start with the human need, clinical reality, and the lived experience of patients, families, and healthcare teams.
I am an Internal Medicine physician and hospitalist, educator, technologist, creator, and entrepreneur based in West Islip, New York. My work begins at the bedside and extends into digital health, patient education, media, design, and practical tools that help people make better decisions.
Clinical medicine taught me to listen carefully, identify the real problem, make decisions under pressure, and never lose sight of the person behind the process.
I have spent more than 15 years caring for hospitalized patients and working alongside physicians, nurses, case managers, therapists, administrators, patients, and families. That experience has shown me both the extraordinary strength of healthcare teams and the frustration that appears when information is unclear, workflows are fragmented, or families do not know what comes next.
I have lived in West Islip for more than four decades and practice at Good Samaritan University Hospital in the community I call home. Caring for neighbors and families from across Long Island makes the work personal. It also reinforces my belief that trust is built through clarity, consistency, accessibility, and follow-through.
My background in technology and information systems gives me another way to approach those challenges. I naturally look for the structure behind a problem: where communication fails, where a process becomes unnecessarily difficult, and where a thoughtful digital tool or clearer explanation could make the experience better.
That combination—physician, systems thinker, educator, and builder—has shaped every project I have created, from healthcare navigation and patient education to digital strategy, technology tutorials, product design, and the medication-history platform now being developed as MedPass360.
Start with the human need, clinical reality, and the lived experience of patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Find the friction, simplify the workflow, and build a process that is clearer, safer, and easier to use.
Translate complex information into practical guidance people can understand and apply with confidence.
Turn useful ideas into real platforms, services, content, and products designed to solve specific problems.
My journey took me from West Islip to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, medical school, and residency training in Rhode Island—then back to Long Island to care for the community I call home.
Raised in West Islip, I developed a lasting connection to the people and community of Long Island. Those roots continue to shape my work as a physician, educator, and entrepreneur.
Studied Management Information Systems, building an early foundation in technology, process design, and structured problem-solving.
Earned my medical degree and developed the clinical foundation that would lead to a career in Internal Medicine and hospital-based care.
Boston University School of Medicine–affiliated program during my training
Completed Internal Medicine residency training in Rhode Island and served as Junior Faculty Chief Resident.
Built more than 15 years of acute-care experience while contributing to clinical peer review, patient-experience communication, medical staff leadership, and hospital workflow improvement.
At the bedside, I repeatedly saw families trying to understand rehabilitation, skilled nursing, dialysis access, ventilator-capable facilities, assisted living, memory care, hospice, insurance, and the many decisions that follow hospitalization—often during one of the most stressful moments of their lives.
LIAfterCare was created to make that transition less confusing. It is a physician-built education and navigation resource designed to organize information, explain options, and help patients and families participate more confidently in planning what comes next.
Each venture reflects a different part of my experience, but all are built around practical value, clearer communication, thoughtful design, and usefulness in everyday life.
Technology EducationPractical, step-by-step education covering artificial intelligence, productivity, devices, smart-home technology, digital tools, and better creator workflows for an audience of more than 100,000 YouTube subscribers.

Explore LIAfterCareTechTokDoc grew from a simple goal: help people understand technology without making them feel overwhelmed. I create tutorials and explainers about AI, productivity, consumer devices, smart-home systems, and creator tools using the same approach I value in medicine—start with the problem, explain the reasoning, and show the next step clearly.
I also use design, video, voice technology, and digital media to improve professional communication and patient education. Over the years, I have designed more than 1,000 medical poster presentations for national and international conferences and created educational resources for students, residents, physicians, healthcare teams, patients, families, and everyday technology users.
Recognition matters most when it reflects the confidence of patients, colleagues, healthcare teams, and the community.
Whether I am caring for a patient, improving a workflow, explaining a technology, building a platform, or developing a new brand, I return to the same principles:
